Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to develop comprehensive and customized treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation tools, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modern modalities, to facilitate effective treatment.
• Educate patients and their families about exercises, movement techniques, and strategies for at-home care to promote recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Continuously track patient progress and outcomes, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on patient feedback and evidence-based protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment interventions, and progress notes in accordance with facility policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse patient population which includes athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, and patients dealing with chronic pain and musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for these individuals, providing them with the tools and guidance necessary for a successful recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a graduate-level degree (Master's or Doctorate) is preferred for a deeper knowledge base.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Nevada or the eligibility to obtain such licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective dialogue with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, with a focus on manual therapies and functional rehabilitation approaches.
• Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems to maintain patient documentation and data management.
• A background in sports rehabilitation is especially beneficial, given the nature of our client base.

Compensation and Benefits
