Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite, as you will be providing care directly in patients' homes across Henderson, Nevada. You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring timely visits to meet the needs of your clients. The role requires efficient travel between patient locations and the ability to adapt treatment plans based on varying home environments. Utilizing mobile therapy equipment and telehealth technologies, you will maintain high standards of care, regardless of setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Assessments: Conduct in-depth evaluations of patients' physical conditions, including their strength, flexibility, and overall functional abilities, to identify specific limitations and craft comprehensive care plans tailored to their recovery goals.
• Treatment Implementation: Develop and administer individualized therapy programs aimed at enhancing mobility, preventing further injury, and promoting independent living. Your role may involve utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual manipulation, and advanced modalities.
• Hands-On Therapy: Deliver direct care for a wide range of conditions, focusing primarily on orthopedic and sports-related injuries. Your interventions will help restore function and encourage a proactive approach to health and wellness.
• Patient Education: Equip patients with the knowledge and tools required for self-management and long-term health improvement through tailored education on therapeutic exercises, postural awareness, and injury prevention strategies.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems to monitor progress, adapt treatment plans as necessary, and ensure compliance with professional standards.
• Team Collaboration: Cooperate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to create a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adult clients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic physical ailments, as well as elderly patients requiring rehabilitation due to age-related conditions. Our home care model allows for personalized attention, enabling you to build strong therapeutic relationships and support clients in their recovery processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a relevant setting, particularly in home care or outpatient services, is preferred.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic methodologies.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in home health settings or with a variety of patient demographics, including the elderly.
• Certification in specialized therapeutic techniques or systems relevant to physical therapy.
• Knowledge of current best practices in physical rehabilitation and pain management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
