About Northern New England Wound Care We are a physician‑led mobile wound care practice headquartered in North Hampton, NH, bringing hospital‑grade wound treatment to patients in their homes, skilled nursing facilities, and long‑term care communities across New England. Clinicians manage complex and chronic wounds using evidence‑based protocols and advanced therapies—including non‑contact ultrasonic debridement, negative pressure wound therapy, PRP therapies, and fluorescence imaging—while coordinating care closely with physicians and care teams. Learn more at About the Role We seek an experienced Nurse Practitioner (APRN/NP) with a passion for wound care for a mobile, part‑time contract role. The position involves assessing and treating patients in homes, SNFs, and LTC facilities across New Hampshire, with opportunities for outpatient clinic shifts. What You’ll Do Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic wounds (pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, venous and arterial ulcers, surgical wounds, and more). Provide hands‑on wound treatment, including conservative sharp debridement, application of advanced wound care products, and other procedures within scope of practice. Travel to patient homes, SNFs, and LTC facilities; optional outpatient clinic shifts may be available. Collaborate with facility nursing staff, primary care providers, home health agencies, and families to coordinate care. Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff on wound prevention and management. Document visits accurately and timely in our EMR. Order and interpret relevant diagnostics; prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate. Schedule & Location Part‑time. You set your availability, covering as little as one day per week. Locations throughout New Hampshire; travel within your region the norm. Candidates open to broader travel will have access to additional volume. Mileage reimbursement provided. What We’re Looking For Required: Active, unrestricted APRN license in New Hampshire (or eligibility for NH licensure) Current national board certification (AANP or ANCC) Demonstrated clinical experience in wound care (assessment, treatment, and management of complex wounds) Active DEA registration (or eligibility) Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to patient locations Strong independent clinical judgment and comfort practicing autonomously in the field Proficiency with electronic medical records (Intellicure experience is a bonus) Preferred: Wound care certification (CWS, CWSP, CWCN, CWON, WCC, or equivalent) strongly preferred Experience providing care in home‑based, hospital, SNF, or LTC settings Experience with debridement and advanced wound therapies (NPWT, ultrasonic debridement, PRP, cellular and tissue‑based products) 3+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner Compensation $110 per hour Flexible hours per week to fit your schedule Mileage reimbursement 1099 independent contractor position Why Join Us Real flexibility: control when and where you work; ideal for part‑time or supplemental work.
