Schedule

Day shift from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 8:00 pm, with potential Saturday shifts from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Registered Nurse with experience in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessments and manage patient care in accordance with established protocols.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Conduct telephone triage and provide follow-up as needed.
• Assist with clean catch urine collections and throat specimen collections.
• Monitor vital signs and perform medication reconciliation.
• Document patient histories, allergies, and interpretations of lab results.
• Participate in patient education regarding health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric nursing experience.
• Current New York State nursing license required at the time of submission.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is a hard requirement.
• Ability to float to different pediatric locations as needed.
