Laboratory Support Technician

The Opportunity: In this role, you will report to the Territory Area Manager and will work closely with the Avantor's Advanced Laboratory Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science. In this role you will: Pick up and wash dirty glassware Autoclave glassware and tubing Restock all clean glassware Assemble tubing Disassemble bioreactors Dispose of cell waste and media Check and inspect eyewash stations once a week Maintain metrics of washed, autoclaved, repurposed material and MBP waste items Manage inventory of gas cylinders and dewars, place orders, and connect and disconnect the product. Provides daily customer service functions and communicates with the customer. Responsible for all customer service related functions including but not limited to: order entry, reporting, maintaining metrics, and cost savings tracking..
