PERSONAL INJURY CASE MANAGER - Virginia  

Salary: $60,000–$65,000 base (Flexible/Negotiable DOE)

Position Overview

Our client is a well-established personal injury law firm with 30+ years of experience and an excellent reputation. The Personal Injury Case Manager will manage a caseload of bodily injury cases from initial client contact through investigation, negotiation, and settlement .

The ideal candidate will have personal injury experience and strong communication skills, particularly when working with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume caseload of personal injury/bodily injury cases from start to finish
• Investigate and analyze cases to determine the appropriate course of legal action
• Maintain regular communication with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, opposing counsel, and other involved parties
• Monitor clients’ medical treatment and maintain case documentation
• Locate and interview witnesses; review police reports and medical records; conduct research as needed
• Draft and send demand packages
• Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial by organizing evidence, developing arguments, and drafting pleadings
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and represent clients in court when necessary
• Keep clients informed of case status and ensure they understand and approve actions taken on their behalf
• Supervise support staff and delegate tasks as needed
• Handle administrative responsibilities, including file management
• Maintain compliance with ethical guidelines and applicable state and federal laws
• Stay current on developments in personal injury law

Required Qualifications

• Experience or exposure to personal injury work
• Ability to handle bodily injury cases from start to finish
•  Average caseload 60+ and about 10-15 demands a month
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2–5 years of professional experience working with clients in a human services capacity preferred
• Experience working with clients who have experienced trauma
• Familiarity with community resources and referral processes
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, NOT required
