Intern, Marketing

Position Summary The Marketing Intern will provide support for year-long marketing planning that drives brand awareness, consideration, and conversion of the Washington Commanders products. The person in this role will collaborate across the organization to support efforts to acquire and engage fans across various platforms, including team marketing and promotional activities, and ticket sales activations. This individual will work on all 2026 season home games. They will work closely with members of Community Relations, Alumni, Ticketing, Sponsorship, Stadium Events, Operations, Guest Experience, and various other internal partners. A successful candidate must be a forward thinking, creative individual who demonstrates an elevated level of initiative, communication, and organization. Title : Intern, Marketing Anticipated Start Date : August 2026 Anticipated End Date : August 2027 Reports to : Manager, Marketing Duties & Responsibilities Provide day-to-day marketing support for departments across the organization Assist in creating messaging and content necessary to successfully execute marketing initiatives including basic designs and copywriting Support gameday fan activations and marketing initiatives Assist with the planning and execution of Commanders Rallies throughout the season Support team fan clubs through managing customer service inquiries and helping execute events Assist with promotion and execution of stadium special events and concerts Coordinate influencer strategy and experience on game days and special event days Work cross-functionally to coordinate and assist in execution of marketing plan(s) Collaborate with creative & content teams in development of assets in support of marketing plan(s) Analyze consumer insights and help build future strategies and product offerings based on learnings Help to manage the media and barter inventory for use in marketing campaigns Requirements Recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field General understanding of digital marketing (email, web and social media) and graphic design (PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe) Attention to detail, ability to think creatively and operate independently Ability to maintain professionalism around various talent including players, coaches, influencers, and artists Team player with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously Must be a strong cross-functional worker and communicator Ability to work nights, weekends and events as needed We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class. #J-18808-Ljbffr
