OR Technician, Certified OR Tech, or LPN/OR Tech

Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital, a proud member of the University of Vermont Health Network, is seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician or LPN/OR Technician to join our dedicated team. Our facility is renowned for delivering high-quality healthcare services, including specialty care, primary care, and emergency medicine. As part of our OR team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our surgical rooms, assisting in surgical procedures, and maintaining a sterile environment, all while upholding the highest standards of patient care. Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile. Assist surgeons during operations by handling instruments, cutting sutures, and providing necessary medical supplies. Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection and ensure patient safety. Contribute to the post-operative care of patients to enhance recovery. Document all operative procedures accurately and comprehensively. Proficiency in using surgical tools and technology Strong knowledge of sterile and aseptic techniques High attention to detail and precision Effective communication skills for interacting with medical staff and patients Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations Medical Insurance Valid LPN license or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required.
