Position: BCBA (Mental Health Specialty Flex) Location: Bedford, MA Job Id: 2010 # of Openings: 1 BCBA Mental Health Flex Full Time Salaried: $83,000 Sign On Bonus: $2,500 Mobile Position in Northeastern Massachusetts The Edinburg Center is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Mental Health Specialty Flex Services team. This is not your ordinary BCBA role! This is an opportunity to use your ABA expertise beyond a traditional autism focused setting and work at the intersection of mental health and behavior . You will collaborate with youth, families, caregivers, and an interdisciplinary team to understand challenging behaviors, develop individualized strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. Who You Are: You are a BCBA and Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) who is passionate about applying the principles of ABA within a mental health setting. You have experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments, developing individualized behavioral goals, and designing Behavior Support Plans. You are comfortable working with youth and families experiencing mental health and behavioral challenges and understand the importance of approaching behavior within the context of each individual's needs and environment. You are collaborative, flexible, and comfortable working both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team. Qualifications Include: Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis required Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and developing Behavior Support Plans Previous experience working with mental health and behavioral challenges Strong written, communication, and interpersonal skills Valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable transportation required Bilingual and bicultural candidates are encouraged to apply What You Will Do: Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and skills assessments to identify the function of behaviors and areas for growth Develop individualized Behavior Support Plans and measurable goals focused on decreasing interfering behaviors and increasing appropriate replacement behaviors Create practical data collection systems and monitor progress through ongoing data analysis Provide hands on coaching, modeling, role play, and feedback to help caregivers successfully implement behavioral strategies Train team members and other providers on ABA principles and behavioral strategies to promote consistency across services Collaborate closely with youth, families, caregivers, clinicians, and other members of the treatment team Serve as a behavioral resource and team lead within Flex Services Participate in treatment planning, team meetings, group supervision, and ongoing professional development Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic health record Who We Are: A dedicated team of professionals who have chosen to join an organization with a forty year history of serving people with mental illness, developmental disabilities, brain injury, and autism in the community.
