How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

Clinical Leadership: Leverages 3 years of PICU experience and 2 years in Charge Nurse roles to direct daily operations, prioritize patient/physician dynamics, and ensure excellence in high-acuity specialty care.

Operational Management: Optimizes unit productivity by coordinating staffing, managing resource allocation, and developing population-appropriate care assignments while justifying operational variances.

Team Development & Oversight: Drives staff performance through proactive mentorship, education, and clinical evaluation, serving as a primary lead for resolving care complaints and maintaining quality standards.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
