Base pay range $95,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Gulfstream Strategic Placements Job Title: BAS/Controls Field Service Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Summary We seek a local and experienced BAS/Controls Field Service Manager to oversee and support field operations for building automation and HVAC controls systems across commercial facilities in Los Angeles, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a solid background in building automation systems (BAS), particularly HVAC controls, and a proven track record of field service management. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of BAS/Controls field service technicians. Coordinate scheduling, dispatch, and oversight of field service projects. Provide hands-on technical support for complex system troubleshooting and commissioning. Ensure timely and high-quality service delivery per project scope and client expectations. Maintain strong customer relationships and serve as the primary technical point of contact. Oversee system integration and programming for controls platforms such as BACnet, DDC, ALC, Alerton, Tritium, Niagara, and Distech. Conduct site assessments, provide technical training, and support ongoing process improvement. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in building automation controls service, focusing on HVAC systems in commercial buildings. Stable and verifiable work history, preferably within Los Angeles County or surrounding areas. Proficiency with control platforms such as BACnet, ALC, Alerton, Tritium, Niagara, and Distech. Strong knowledge of DDC controls and HVAC systems. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, and programming logic.
