Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Aid in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical issues through the interpretation of imaging results and lab tests
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide critical intraoperative assistance, including room preparation, ensuring patient positioning, and passing instruments during surgeries
• Deliver exceptional care before and after surgery, managing medication, wound care, discharge procedures, and patient education

Education

• A master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills
