Accounts Payable SpecialistLocation: Troy, Ohio, Onsite Compensation: $55,160 – $66,560Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support a manufacturing operation that is significantly behind in A/P processing. This is a hands-on, high-impact project role requiring someone who can step in quickly, work through a high-volume backlog, and help establish sustainable A/P processes.The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to research and resolve discrepancies independently.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess high-volume accounts payable transactions accurately and efficientlyReview, code, and enter invoices; identify and resolve discrepanciesResearch outstanding A/P issues and follow through to resolutionWork within Syteline (preferred) or similar ERP systemsCommunicate with internal teams and vendors to resolve invoicing and payment issuesAssist in documenting and improving A/P processes to prevent future backlogsSupport efforts to bring accounts payable current within the project timelineRequired QualificationsExperience working in a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of accounts payable and invoicing processesProven experience in high-volume, transactional A/P rolesAbility to research issues independently and take initiativeStrong organizational skills and attention to detailResults-driven, "go-getter" mindsetPreferred QualificationsSyteline ERP experienceExperience supporting A/P clean-up or backlog recovery projects
