Required Skills:

• Computer skills using Excel documents
• Product measuring experience using hand-held gages
• Print reading and basic GD&T
• Machining background preferred
• Self-directed while team-oriented

Job Duties:

• Conduct First Piece Inspection.

1. Measure parts using measuring tools/gages and prints.
2. Record 1st Piece data in Excel based documents.

• Conduct ongoing In-process audits to verify the manufacturing process is followed and the product maintains the quality requirements.

1. Record In-process audit findings in Excel based documents.

• When non-conforming products are identified, work with the Supervisor to sort parts and communicate to the Team the results.
• Review daily scrap.
• 100% inspection of product when required.
• Conduct Fast Response when issues are found.

1. Part of the corrective action team to resolve issue.

• Complete other duties within the department as directed, with proper training.
