Head Chef / Kitchen Manager – Lucky T Ranch Restaurant

Lucky T Ranch Restaurant is seeking an experienced Head Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen operations and deliver high-quality, home-style meals our guests know and love.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily kitchen execution, managing and developing the team, and maintaining consistency, efficiency, and food quality. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in running an organized, high-performing kitchen.

• Lead, train, and manage kitchen staff to ensure strong performance and teamwork

• Set expectations for quality, consistency, and cleanliness

• Create a positive, accountable kitchen culture

• Provide coaching and support to develop team members

• Prepare and oversee the preparation of menu items with consistency and attention to detail

• Ensure all dishes meet presentation, portion, and quality standards

• Maintain high standards for taste, freshness, and execution

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and workflow to ensure efficiency

• Maintain organized, clean, and fully stocked workstations

• Ensure timely ticket execution during high-volume service

• Monitor inventory levels and order food and supplies as needed

• Control food costs, minimize waste, and maintain proper portioning

• Manage product rotation and storage procedures

• Assist with menu planning, specials, and recipe development

• Ensure consistency in recipes and preparation methods

• Enforce all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards

• Ensure compliance with local health regulations

• Maintain a safe and organized kitchen environment

• Previous experience as a Head Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Lead Cook preferred

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Dependable, hands-on, and team-oriented
