Upright Bass Teacher - The Music Shop - Boonton, NJ

Position Overview Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional upright bass instructor to teach part-time at The Music Shop, in Boonton, New Jersey. Teaching will be in person. Responsibilities Teach upright bass lessons to students, both for private instruction and ensemble participation. Maintain consistent availability during open hours. Confirm attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct. Pass routine background check. Qualifications Degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience. Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians. Robust appreciation for punctuality and reliable transportation. Compensation and Benefits Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $30-34 per hour. Health benefit options and a 401(K) program with employer matching are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble after 30 days of employment.
