Company Description AAA Gastrointestinal P.C., led by Dr. Lincoln Hernandez (Full Attending and Faculty at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai), is seeking a Lead Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. We aren't a high-volume "clinic"—we are a vertically integrated specialty center. We own our own pathology lab, co‑own two surgery centers, and utilize the latest in GI diagnostic technology. Role Description The Mission: Join a high-performance, vertically integrated GI practice in Washington Heights. Led by Dr. Lincoln Hernandez (Full Attending/Faculty at Mount Sinai), we provide quality based clinical standards to an underserved community. Providing high level care in Northern Manhattan and The Bronx We aren't a high-volume clinic; we are a sub-specialty center with our own pathology lab and surgical center ownership. The Role: We are looking for a Lead Clinical Associate (NP) who wants to move beyond the hospital bureaucracy and work at the top of their license. This is a "fellowship-style" role where you will be mentored directly by Dr. Hernandez to manage complex GI, IBD, and Liver cases. Key Clinical Responsibilities: Program Leadership: Lead our Metabolic Liver Program, utilizing in-office Fibroscan technology to treat MASLD/Fatty Liver. Advanced Diagnostics: Perform and interpret SmartPill Motility, Restech pH monitoring, and Capsule Endoscopy. Interventional Care: Receive hands‑on training to perform in-office CRH O’Regan Hemorrhoid Banding. Patient Care: See 3-4 patients per hour in a highly efficient workflow, supported by a veteran MA team that handles all prior authorizations and administrative tasks. Requirements Bilingual (Spanish/English): Native or near‑native fluency is essential for our patient population. Clinical IQ: 2+ years of experience in GI, Internal Medicine, or Hospitalist work preferred. Cultural Connection: A genuine desire to serve the Washington Heights and Bronx communities.
