Head of Commercial Operations and Partnerships

Position Title Head of Commercial Operations and Partnerships Position Overview Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Commercial Operations and Partnerships is responsible for developing and executing Superblue's overall commercial strategy with accountability for the organization's three primary revenue streams: Ticket Sales (including Group Sales), Sponsorships & Strategic Partnerships, and Special Events. The role will lead the commercial organization, including Marketing, Group Sales, and Events, ensuring a cohesive revenue strategy across all customer touchpoints. Working closely with the CEO and cross-functional leadership, this individual will drive revenue growth, maximize profitability, build strategic partnerships, expand Superblue's presence within the tourism and corporate markets, and deliver measurable commercial results. What You’ll Do: Develop and execute the overall commercial strategy for Superblue, with responsibility for Ticket Sales, Sponsorships & Partnerships, and Special Events. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets, increase revenue, and expand client base with a focus on outbound groups, tourism, and special events. Nurture new and existing partnerships for the purpose of building sponsorship opportunities and translating to group sales/bookings. Leverage existing industry contacts to generate leads and cultivate new relationships. Proactively solicit new business through sales calls, trade shows, and other client prospecting opportunities. Utilize marketing insights and analytics to develop strategies for increasing sales and revenue. Responsible for finding efficiencies, creating best practices, and managing all aspects of proposals, pricing strategies, negotiating, contracting and payment process for group and event sales. Lead and develop the Commercial team, including the Marketing Manager, Group Sales Manager, and Events Manager. What You’ll Bring Minimum 8-10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in sales, business development, partnerships, venue management, hospitality, attractions, sports, entertainment, museums or live experiences, with demonstrated success leading revenue-generating teams and owning significant P&L responsibility. Established network of industry contacts and corporate connections / relationship to communities in Miami. Possess strong strategic planning skills to develop effective sales strategies and tactics. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to effectively interact with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Proven ability to set KPIs and meet ROI goals through marketing; ability to support the P&L management. Proficient with data analytics tools like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or equivalent experience.
