Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our team at Mona Lisa Dental. This role is ideal for individuals eager to assist in providing exceptional dental care and who thrive in a supportive environment. As a dental assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists, ensuring that each patient receives the highest level of care and service. This is a wonderful opportunity to work within a collaborative and friendly atmosphere surrounded by experienced dental professionals.
Please note that this position is not remote and requires presence on-site at our clinic.
Duties and Responsibilities- Assisting dentists during various dental procedures.
- Taking and developing dental X-rays.
- Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment.
- Setting up and breaking down treatment rooms before and after procedures.
- Providing patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Performing basic administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
- Assisting with front desk duties, such as receiving patients and managing phone calls, as needed.
- Ensuring strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment at all times.
- X-Ray certification required.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively and adapt within a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with dental office software.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not mandatory. New graduates are welcomed to apply.
Competitive salary based on experience 18.00-30.00 per hour - Full-time employment with a 4-day work week (Monday to Thursday alternating with Tuesday to Friday) - No weekends - Health insurance coverage - Vacation time - 401K plan - Dental benefits
