AP Specialist

We’re partnering with a Houston-based General Contractor to find an Accounting Associate who will play a key role in their financial operations. Responsibilities Process accounts payable, including invoice verification, coding, and vendor payments. Assist with bookkeeping tasks, such as reconciliations and maintaining financial records. Support the Controller with month-end close, financial reporting, and administrative duties. Maintain organized accounting files and ensure data accuracy. Utilize Sage Peachtree (preferred) or other accounting software to manage transactions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred) or relevant experience. 1-3 years of accounts payable, bookkeeping, and/or general accounting experience. Proficiency in Sage Peachtree is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
