Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Clinical Research Manager responsible for managing daily clinical research activities, strategic planning, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role includes developing project budgets, negotiating with partners, and supervising research staff.


Key Responsibilities

• Manages daily clinical research operations and standard operating procedures.
• Develops project budgets and aids in financial negotiations with industry partners.
• Oversees hiring, scheduling, performance evaluations, and training for research staff.
• Ensures compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborates with investigators to build research protocols and execution tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of formal supervisor or management experience.
• Experience in managing clinical trials within a hospital setting.
• Thorough understanding of clinical research, including protocol compliance and study workflows.

Skills

• Leadership and management experience.
• Experience handling inpatient protocol logistics and managing operational workflows in hospitals.
• Familiarity with NIH grant submissions and financial management of studies.
• Technical skill in phlebotomy and clinical procedures is preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
• Some longer days or additional work may be required.
