Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:The Operations Manager is accountable for inspiring and executing strategies which achieve optimum safety, quality, service, productivity, and profitability. Advance initiatives that promote and sustain the safety, health, security, and welfare of all employees.Maintain safe, clean, orderly and environmentally compliant production operations.Inclusive oversight of all production and production support activities of the facility ensuring all are conducted in accordance with Company policies, principles, procedures, values, and standards.Perpetually assess current strategies, systems, procedures, performance, capabilities, equipment, facilities, and employees for opportunities to optimize safety, flow, service, quality, and profitability. Willingly undertake and perform other duties and tasks as assigned. Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.Ensure that production activities remain on time and within budget.Track staffing needs, hiring new hires as needed.Job Specific Requirements:Daily GEMBA Perform daily audits for Standard Work, Housekeeping and Roll ScanningMaintain and post shift score cards twice monthlyAssist with attendance and performance write upsAssist with shift completion of SABA safety trainingAssist with OT schedulesSupport shift supervisor on the floor to improve uptime.Lead, motivate, and support production team, including career development and problem resolution.Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.Oversee materials and inventory.Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to corporate leadership team.Candidate Requirements:High school degree required, secondary education and/or leadership training preferredRequires individual with thorough knowledge of production processes in order to oversee bag making process A minimum of 5-10+ years of experience in a production environment Demonstrated competence to work with minimum supervision effectively with all levels in the organization.Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization.Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the willingness and ability to learn new systems.Willing and able to work overtime#LI-TM1#INDSalariedCompany BenefitsWhat You'll Get From UsBenefitsWith safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
