Inside Sales Specialist & Technical Concierge - Japan

Twist Bioscience

Twist Bioscience seeks an Inside Sales Specialist & Technical Concierge for Japan to drive revenue growth through lead development, campaign execution, and customer support. The role combines inside sales responsibilities with technical product knowledge, serving academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical customers across the APAC region.

Responsibilities

Develop targeted campaigns to generate and close new sales opportunities in existing and new accounts
Collaborate with marketing and field sales to drive product promotions and joint account strategies
Provide technical assistance and pre-sales support for gene synthesis products to customers and distributors
Manage sales process via phone, email, and in-person engagement; maintain CRM database with accurate opportunity tracking
Prospect outbound leads, qualify opportunities, and support trade shows and customer meetings

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in life science field
Minimum 3 years inside or commercial sales experience in life science
Genetics or molecular biology background
Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills
Ability to travel up to 20%
