Senior Systems Engineer

Senior Systems Engineer – Systems Engineering Department, Chaska, Minnesota (Onsite) At Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, the Senior Systems Engineer will design, develop, and test the next generation of Immunoassay and Clinical Chemistry Analyzers. The role involves working with fluidics, pneumatics, electrical motors, pressure sensors, and vision systems on a software‑controlled medical diagnostic analyzer; collaborating with stakeholders across multiple product teams; understanding customer workflows to support hardware and software changes; quickly investigating and resolving new product issues; facilitating design FMEAs; and using error analysis to drive system design quality. Essential Requirements Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast‑paced, changing environment. Familiarity with requirements management. Preferred Experience Medical regulated experience or experience in a regulated environment. Experience utilizing software log files to investigate failures. Experience troubleshooting technical issues. Experience working with system requirements and dFMEAs. Experience working in a scrum/agile team or similar environment. Travel Up to 10% global travel required. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary range: $100,000 – $130,000.
