Job Description Job Description The role of a Sheet Metal Journeyman involves utilizing various hand and power tools, along with large equipment, to fabricate, assemble, and install HVAC systems such as ductwork, VAVs, and other sheet metal components. They are responsible for interpreting blueprints, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, adhering to company standards, and maintaining safety protocols. An ideal candidate is dependable, capable of working independently or collaboratively, and possesses at least five (5) years of relevant experience. Duties and Responsibilities: * Reviewing blueprints to determine tools, measurements, and installation sites * Operating hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment * Installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC systems * Following safety procedures; and regularly inspecting tools to ensure proper functioning Requirements and Qualifications: * The ability to interpret blueprints and drawings * A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience * Familiarity with hand and power tools * Attention to detail * Reliable with a strong work ethic * Experience in remodeling and hospital settings preferred Company Description Smith Co Mechanical LLC was founded in April 2023, driven by a vision to provide professional, trustworthy installation services.
