About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required. License: Valid nursing license required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. Must-Have: Candidates must have strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills. Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips is required. Previous telemetry experience is essential. Current acute care experience in the applicable specialty is required. Candidates must be able to float to different units as needed. Description: Candidates with only 1 year of experience may be considered, but they will not receive automatic offers. Their profiles will need to be reviewed by management. The position entails working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The role includes every other weekend shift, specifically Friday and Saturday nights. Charge experience is preferred. The ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage isolation precautions is necessary. Experience with telemetry monitoring is required. Candidates will be responsible for the management of dysrhythmias and oxygen administration. This position includes peripheral line care and management, as well as maintaining IVs. All candidates must comply with fingerprinting requirements promptly after contract signing. Two professional references are required, including one from a manager or director. Education must be from an accredited program.
