Travel Oncology Chemo Certified Registered Nurse - $2,080 per week

Job Description MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Washington, District of Columbia. The assignment begins 07/13/2026, lasts 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12‑hour night shifts. This is a travel position. Responsibilities The Oncology RN will care for critically or chronically ill cancer patients, administer chemotherapy, implement new symptom‑treatment methods and monitor patients' progress, creating a supportive environment. They may specialize in pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer. Key responsibilities include: Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, focusing on the acute phase. Assist patients ranging from post‑surgical to near‑terminal in managing their disease and treatment effectively, and may also administer chemotherapy. Educate patients about treatment options, procedures, and particulars of the disease.
