Accounts Payable Clerk

Who You Are The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounts payable operations while assisting with general accounting and financial processes. This role reports to the Controller and offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across accounting and business operations. What You\'ll Do Accounts Payable (Primary Focus): Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments Maintain and update vendor records in SAP Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Prepare and process AP checks and wire payments Audit freight bills and prepare debit notes as needed Maintain accounts payable files and generate reports Accounting & Operational Support: Assist with journal entries and account reconciliations Support monthly close activities Assist with inventory, sales, and gross margin reporting Support commission calculations and invoicing Prepare weekly cycle count reports Purchasing / Production Support: Generate purchase orders as needed Assist with issuing and receiving production orders Additional Responsibilities: Provide administrative support as needed Collaborate with internal teams and vendors Support various accounting and operational projects What You Bring Qualifications 2+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience Bachelor’s degree preferred Strong Excel skills required Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Effective communication and problem-solving skills What We Offer Compensation Salary: $41,000 – $43,000 Work Environment & Physical Requirements Office-based role in Hackensack, NJ Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds #J-18808-Ljbffr Emerging Power, Inc.
