License: Active license required

Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and RRT (CRT accepted)

Must-Have: Experience in pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics, EPIC experience, experience with trachs, nitrous oxide procedures, proning techniques, and critical care, knowledge of ventilator-associated pneumonia prevention and spontaneous breathing trials, ability to perform ABG draws

Description: The candidate must have experience working with patients across all age groups. They should possess an active Illinois license and relevant certifications. Technical skills required include familiarity with respiratory therapies and equipment used in critical care. Candidates will support a patient population that includes neonates to geriatric respiratory patients. They will work in a unit that emphasizes a 1:1 patient ratio for optimal care. Adequate PPE will be provided, including N95 masks. Candidates must be available to work 12-hour shifts with an every-other-weekend rotation. Holiday expectations will be based on unit needs. Charting is done using the EPIC system. Applicants should be prepared to work with various respiratory machines and devices. Team support will include a supervisor on the unit. Experience in critical care environments is essential. All necessary skills and certifications should be readily available at the time of onboarding.
