Territory Account Manager

Our client, a nationally recognized fuel and energy brand, is looking to add a Territory Account Manager to support an established portfolio of retail fuel and convenience store customers throughout the Houston market! This is a relationship-focused position responsible for managing dealer and customer relationships, driving renewals, supporting account growth, and serving as a trusted business partner to fuel retailers and operators across the territory. The ideal candidate will have experience within the downstream fuel, petroleum distribution, convenience store, or retail fuel industry and enjoy building long-term customer relationships in a field‑based environment. What You'll Be Doing Manage and grow an established portfolio of customer accounts throughout the Houston market Build strong relationships with fuel dealers, convenience store operators, distributors, and key decision makers Drive customer retention, contract renewals, and account expansion opportunities Serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction Spend 3-4 days per week in the field meeting with customers across your territory Review account performance and identify opportunities for long‑term growth Partner with customers to support business objectives and strengthen long‑term partnerships What's In It For You Competitive base salary + annual bonus opportunity Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) Hybrid flexibility when not in the field Career growth with a well‑established national organization Strong company culture and long‑term stability Ownership of a defined territory and customer portfolio What They're Looking For Bachelor's degree required 3+ years of experience in account management, territory management, dealer management, or relationship management Experience working with convenience store operators, fuel distributors, branded fuel programs, petroleum marketers, or retail fuel customers strongly preferred Experience managing and growing existing customer relationships over time Strong communication, customer service, and relationship‑building skills Comfortable spending multiple days per week in the field throughout the Houston market Experience within downstream fuel, petroleum distribution, convenience store, or retail fuel environments highly preferred Experience managing multiple customer accounts and navigating varying customer needs #J-18808-Ljbffr
