Vitality values practitioners who are committed to helping patients improve their quality of life through compassionate, ethical care.\nRole Description The Licensed Massage Therapist is a part-time, on-site role based in Charlotte, NC, with opportunity to grow to full-time providing therapeutic massage services to support patients’ musculoskeletal health and stress reduction. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, explaining treatment plans, and delivering appropriate massage techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, and other modalities within the therapist’s scope of practice. The therapist will collaborate with chiropractic and acupuncture providers to coordinate care, document treatments accurately, and maintain compliance with professional and clinic standards. Additional tasks include preparing and sanitizing treatment rooms, managing appointment flow, and delivering consistent, professional customer service. The role also involves educating patients on self-care strategies, promoting a calm and safe environment, and participating in occasional team meetings and training.\nQualifications\n\n Strong therapeutic massage skills, including body massage and modalities such as hot stone and myofascial release.\n Demonstrated customer service skills, with a focus on respectful, clear, and compassionate communication.\n Active state license as a Massage Therapist (or eligibility to obtain licensure in North Carolina).\n Completion of an accredited massage therapy program and current professional liability insurance.\n Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for massage; adherence to ethical and safety standards.\n Ability to work part-time on-site in Charlotte, NC, including maintaining punctuality and reliable attendance.\n Experience in a chiropractic, acupuncture, or integrative health setting is a plus.\n Comfort using basic practice management or scheduling software and documenting treatments clearly.\n
