Bring your ambition to the table as we unlock new doors together, taking your career to the next level.Bring your experience and be empowered to innovate.As a Staff Accountant at Neighborly, a typical day for you will include:Perform monthly closing activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, accrual schedules, variance analysis & commentary, financial statements, and reporting.Ensure compliance with GAAP and Company policies and procedures.Assist management with financial statements review.Analyze financial information, reports (detailing income, expenses, assets, and liabilities), and prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, statement of cash flows, and other reports.Review and record sales contracts.Perform balance sheet account reconciliations.Understand and apply generally accepted accounting principles.Prepare commissions and bonuses for the approval process.Prepare schedules, test samples, footnotes, and related disclosures in support of the external audit.Use software such as Microsoft Suites (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams), Dynamics, Great Plains, SAP Concur, and Northridge Loan Management Software.Bring your skills and be inspired to achieve success.(Required qualifications)Experience:A minimum of two (2) years of recent related experience is required.Intermediate-level knowledge of the Microsoft suite (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) is required.Working knowledge of ERP/financial system.Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Accounting requiredSchedule / in-office requirements:Hybrid working model; Monday-Wednesday in the office, Thursday/Friday from home.Our office locations are:500 E John Carpenter Fwy, Irving, TX1010 N University Parks Drive, Waco, TXBring your goals and be enabled to reach them.Competitive Pay: Commensurate with experienceSchedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM local time zoneBenefits: Check out our benefits offerings here: Neighborly BenefitsFinancial Benefits: Equity and bonus opportunitiesBrand:MRH Mr Handyman
