All team members are expected to excel in Relationships, Communication, Quality Service, Operational Excellence, and Innovation & Growth, contributing to the firm’s success through collaboration, exceptional service, and continuous growth.Position Summary:Your Impact (Essential Duties):Perform assigned assurance procedures, including audits, reviews, compilations, and agreed-upon proceduresReconcile workpapers to trial balance accounts and ensure neat, complete, and organized documentationUnderstand and apply basic concepts of GAAP, GAAS, and other financial reporting frameworksDetermine scope of testing, select samples, and demonstrate audit skepticismPrepare and review draft financial statements and identify potential issues for documentation and communicationObtain an understanding of control deficiencies and assist in documenting items for management communicationManage individual workloads across multiple engagements and prioritize tasks with supervisor guidanceCommunicate effectively with team members on project statuses and participate actively in meetingsDevelop a basic understanding of client industries and issues that may impact audit workContribute to team efforts by volunteering to assist and participating in training and independent learningDemonstrate strong time management skills to meet deadlines and engagement prioritiesPerform other duties and display flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned by firm leadershipMeet annual billable hour and other targets to fulfill individual performance and overall firm productivityYour Background:CPA license or eligibleBachelor’s degree in accounting or related fieldUnderstanding of audit standards and ability to adapt to changesProficiency in learning and utilizing audit-related software and toolsStrong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaborationExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAccurate mathematical and accounting skillsAbility to follow firm procedures and deliver high-quality workFull-time commitment and flexibility to work beyond regular hours to meet team deadlinesReasonable accommodations will be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job Sorren is an equal opportunity employerWhy Choose Us?At Sorren, we’re invested in your growth—both personally and professionally.
