Position Overview Gotham Enterprises Ltd is on the lookout for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team in Franklin, Tennessee. In this full-time position, you will work remotely while contributing to our outpatient office that specializes in mental health recovery, particularly for individuals dealing with eating disorders. This role offers an annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, reflective of your experience and expertise. Our outpatient office is focused on helping individuals confront and overcome eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder. Work Environment Working in a remote setting enables flexibility while you maintain close communication with our team at the outpatient office. Regular business hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing for a structured schedule that supports a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients, carefully evaluating their eating disorder symptoms as well as any co-occurring mental health conditions. Develop tailored treatment plans collaboratively with clients, ensuring that their unique recovery goals are prioritized based on thorough assessment findings. Utilize evidence-based therapies including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in your therapeutic sessions. Lead supportive therapy sessions that address clients' distorted beliefs surrounding body image and self-worth, guiding them towards healthier outlooks. Assist clients in building effective coping mechanisms, cultivating emotional regulation skills, and resisting unhealthy behaviors related to disordered eating. Collaborate with fellow team members to coordinate care, ensuring that all aspects of a client's treatment and holistic needs are met. Educate clients and their families about eating disorders to enhance recovery outcomes and to promote a supportive environment for healing. Document clients' progress, treatment plans, and therapy sessions accurately and promptly, maintaining compliance with all legal and ethical standards. Engage in team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress, share insights, and enhance your clinical expertise. Patient Population / Client Focus Our primary focus is on individuals grappling with a range of eating disorders, who often experience accompanying mental health challenges. You will provide therapeutic support to clients of diverse backgrounds, working closely with them as they navigate the path to recovery and self-acceptance. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee. A strong grasp of evidence-based treatments specifically for eating disorders, including CBT, DBT, and ACT methodologies. In-depth understanding of the complexities related to eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients to facilitate effective therapy. Preferred Experience Ideally, candidates will bring at least two years of direct experience in a clinical setting dealing with eating disorder treatment or mental health counseling. This experience will enrich your contributions to our clinical team and enable you to provide the highest level of care to our clients.
