ServiceNow Business Analyst

Job Description

Our client is looking for a remote DHS ServiceNow Business Analyst opportunity. This individual will be responsible for translating technical tams and clients to collect, clarify, and analyze business requirements. This individual will work directly with stakeholders, serving in both Business Analyst and lead roles and must be able to communicate effectively with all team members. The Business Analyst will serve as a translator between technical teams and the clients business community to collect, clarify, analyze, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design from which applications and solutions are developed. The Sr. Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in successfully understanding and translating requirements into user stories for the development team and becoming the team SME on business requirements. This role will be responsible for gathering requirements, writing user stories, and testing our applications to meet client needs. Strong communication, critical thinking, and attention to detail are paramount to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Salary ranges from $80-100,000 based on experience

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree in related field

Active DHS public Trust or active government clearance

Minimum 6 years' experience of IT experience

Strong experience independently eliciting requirements from stakeholders

Strong experience translating requirements into specific, scoped user stories

Experience working with stakeholders to understand and prioritize requirements

Experience creating documentation including process mapping, role matrixes, etc.

Experience manually testing user stories

Ability to facilitate sprint ceremonies and other ad hoc meetings as needed

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience or willingness to quickly learn gherkin syntax for user story acceptance criteria

Experience working in an agile environment
