# Quality InspectorHot JobPlant 2 Upholstery Plant - Lenoir, NC 28645## Description**Job Summary**The Fabric Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough inspections of fabric products to ensure they meet company quality standards, customer specifications. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product excellence and customer satisfaction.**Key Responsibilities*** Verify product dimensions, unpackage rolls and look for paperwork* Shade match fabric to the swatch for color match* Enter the fabric into the AS400 system, per paperwork that came with the fabric* Inspect the rolls of fabric to look for flaws* Stock fabric in designated shelves* Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations* Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures* Keep warehouse clean and organized daily## Qualifications**Required Qualifications*** High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred).* 2+ years of experience in furniture manufacturing, woodworking, upholstery, or quality control.* Strong understanding of furniture construction methods and materials.* Ability to read work orders.* Knowledge of quality control standards and inspection procedures.* Attention to detail and strong observational skills.* Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.* Ability to lift and move furniture as required.* Familiarity with ISO quality standards.* Experience using measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, levels).* Strong problem-solving skills.* Good communication and teamwork abilities.* Ability to work under deadlines in a production environment.**Work Environment*** Manufacturing or warehouse setting.* Exposure to finishes, adhesives, and upholstery materials.* Standing for extended periods and handling large pieces of furniture.* Lifting up to 60 pounds #J-18808-Ljbffr
