Rehab Technician

Position Broad River Rehab Rehab Technician / Rehab Tech - PRN at our SNF in Jackson, TN - 2-3 Days per week, Flexible Schedule! BRR is looking for a Rehab Tech to join our team PRN for our skilled nursing facility in Jackson, TN . Job Responsibilities Transport and move patients as directed. Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for treatments and assist/facilitate telehealth visits. Assist licensed personnel in patient care. Maintain awareness of changes in patient population, programs, and patient conditions and inform licensed personnel. Establish and maintain strong relationships with professional staff and good public relations with patients and families. Maintain confidentiality of company, patient and client information. Adhere to the appropriate dress code for the assigned facility and work environment. Adhere to the requirements of the patient's Bill of Rights. Ensure that adequate office supplies and supplies for treatments are maintained. Complete appropriate forms and records, as directed, make copies, and obtain necessary signatures. Ensure that written and oral communications are directed to appropriate personnel. Follow established protected health information (HIPAA) policies to prevent privacy or security breaches. If a breach is identified, report to Broad River Rehab Management. Competencies / Requirements Strong communication and interpersonal ability. Ability to contribute maximally as a team. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, transfer, lift 40 or more pounds, and assist adults/children weighing 200 pounds or more with possible use of mechanical devices where applicable. Must be able to proficiently type a minimum of 40 words per minute. Credentials Minimum high school education or equivalent. Minimum one-year healthcare experience.
