Electronic Assembler

Electronic Assembly Technician Primary duties are to assemble electronic parts, such as circuit boards, mount them into larger assemblies or casings, ensure the proper soldering and installation of electric wiring, and test or troubleshoot equipment before it is put into or returned to service. Key Responsibilities Wire, assemble, and install electrical and electronic components according to blueprint specifications Perform tests on finished products before packaging Complete device history records and daily production logs Maintain a clean and safe workspace Complete other tasks as necessary Job Requirements Soldering experience Wiring experience a plus Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow directions Manual dexterity Equipment Knowledge 10X to 30X microscope Micrometers and calipers – both digital and analog Dial Indicators Electrical measuring equipment (multi-meters, oscilloscopes, DC power supplies) Pressure measuring equipment Soldering irons Office Equipment: personal computer, copier/printer, fax machine and telephone Physical Demands Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of a productive/technical nature Ability to lift weight up to a maximum of 40 pounds Ability to sit at a desk for approximately 5 hours per day Ability to stand and/or walk for approximately 3 hours per day Ability to kneel, crouch, stoop, bend, and reach Manual dexterity to manipulate and inspect small parts Must have 20/20 vision or corrected 20/20 Mental Demands Ability to prioritize, organize, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to take and implement technical directions Ability to communicate in a professional manner when providing verbal feedback on issues of quality Working Conditions Well-lit, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office/production environment with adequate ventilation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
