Job Title: Buyer, Supply Chain

Duration:  18 Months

Location: Cleveland, OH 44109

Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented  Buyer, Supply Chain to support purchasing and supply chain operations. The Buyer will be responsible for processing purchase requisitions, managing rush orders, closing open purchase orders, and resolving credit holds.

The ideal candidate will have strong purchasing experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

· Process purchase requisitions and ensure timely approval.

· Place and manage rush orders as required.

· Monitor and close open purchase orders.

· Research and resolve credit holds to prevent delays in purchasing and delivery.

· Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to support purchasing requirements.

· Maintain accurate purchasing and order records.

· Follow established procurement, purchasing, and supply chain procedures.

· Prioritize tasks and ensure purchasing activities are completed accurately and on schedule.

· Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Mandatory Qualifications :

Candidates must meet  one of the following requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or other related field from an accredited institution; Associate's degree in Business,

Finance, or other related field from an accredited institution. Must have three (3) years of related experience; Six (6) years of experience as a Buyer in lieu of a degree.

Physical Environment: May need to sit or stand for extended periods.

· Purchasing or procurement experience.

· Strong knowledge of supply chain processes.

· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to handle urgent requests and meet deadlines.

· Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

· Ability to work effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

· Proficiency with purchasing systems and standard office software is a plus.
