Assistant Controller – On site
Our client is seeking an Assistant Controller to support the accounting team and help oversee day-to-day financial operations. This role will work closely with leadership on month-end close, financial reporting, process improvements, and team development.
Responsibilities

• Assist with the month-end and year-end close process
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting reconciliations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Assist in managing audits and supporting external auditors
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting
• Mentor and support members of the accounting team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
• CPA license or CPA-track preferred
