Timeline: Immediate Hire

Salary or hourly: Salary of $50,000, bonus potential based on annual performance

Location : Onsite Waukesha, WI. 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday

Reports To : Director of Operations

Position Summary

ErgoStrap Inc., the exclusive U.S. Sales & Service provider for ErgoPack Deutschland GmbH, part of Lifco AB, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support our growing sales and operational activities.

ErgoStrap is seeking a motivated, hands-on Warehouse Assistant to oversee daily warehouse operations while developing the technical skills necessary to become our future Lead Service Technician. This entry-level position includes extensive on-the-job training in warehouse operations, inventory management, machine assembly, service, repair, troubleshooting, and customer support. No prior experience with strapping equipment is requiredwe're looking for someone with mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

Primary Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments

Pick, pack, and ship customer orders and replacement parts

Maintain accurate inventory counts and warehouse organization

Perform cycle counts and inventory audits

Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse

Assist with machine staging prior to customer shipment

Equipment Preparation

Learn to configure new ErgoStrap systems and prepare for shipment with customer-specific options

Perform pre-delivery inspections

Prepare machines for demonstrations and trade shows

Hands-on Service & Technical Training

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues

Repair and rebuild strapping tools

Perform preventative maintenance

Install software updates

Replace electrical and mechanical components

Troubleshoot customer issues by phone and email

Support Sales Representatives with service updates and requests

Prepare service quotations

Document repairs and service history

Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Strong mechanical aptitude

Excellent organizational skills

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite)

Valid driver's license

Strong communication skills

Preferred

Technical or Associates degree

Warehouse experience

Mechanical or electrical repair experience

Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)

Experience using hand and power tools

Physical Requirements

Frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Stand and walk for extended periods

During the first year, the successful candidate will receive structured training in warehouse management, inventory control, machine assembly, service procedures, troubleshooting and customer support. As skills develop, the role will transition into Lead Service Technician, becoming ErgoStrap's primary technical expert supporting customers throughout the U.S.
