Overview We are seeking a motivated Laser Cutting Machine Programmer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC laser cutting machines to produce high-quality sheet metal components. Your expertise will ensure precise fabrication while maintaining safety and efficiency standards across our production processes. Duties Develop and input CNC laser cutting programs based on detailed blueprints and technical specifications Set up laser cutting machines, including adjusting tooling, fixtures, and parameters for optimal performance Operate CNC laser cutters safely and efficiently to produce accurate parts according to specifications Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on laser cutting equipment Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to optimize production workflows Qualifications Proven experience programming CNC laser cutting machines in a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and tooling setup Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of tooling setup, fabrication techniques, and machining processes Join us at Twist, Inc. where your skills will directly contribute to producing high-quality metal components for leading industries.
