Associate/VP Digital Infrastructure & Private Credit Capital Markets

FS is looking for an experienced candidate for its Capital Markets team. The team is involved in structuring and executing fund finance transactions across private credit, real estate, infrastructure, and private equity. In addition, the team has directly syndicated credit facilities, private placements, and rated feeders to a variety of institutional investors. The team is looking to expand the capital markets function with a focus on structuring, executing, and distributing new economy infrastructure (i.e. Solar, Compute, Data Center) transactions and its growing private credit platform. In this role, the candidate will work closely with business leaders across the platform to model transactions, obtain ratings, and coordinate across external counterparties to price and in certain cases syndicate transactions. The ideal candidate will have worked in an organization that has structured and placed infrastructure and private credit facilities with direct lenders, insurance companies, banks and other institutions. We are looking for a candidate that has both the technical and relationship skills to execute transactions with external parties. The candidate will work as part of a team and will gain exposure to the various asset classes across the firm’s platform and will be exposed to a variety of transaction structures including joint ventures, structured credit facilities, total return swaps, repo arrangements, subscription and prime brokerage arrangements in addition to a variety of securitizations (e.g. MM CLOs, CRE CLOs, BSL CLOs, Rated Feeders, CFOs). We are looking for a dynamic individual who is a self-starter and possesses the technical ability to perform analysis and proactively work through transactions and projects.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE IS EXPECTED TO:

• Build financial models in support of rating analysis, deal pricing, and deal structuring
• Review detailed term sheets to and deal documentation
• Prepare investor presentations, offering memoranda, and syndication materials
• Manage transaction timelines and deliverables
• Work with sponsors, fund managers, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders throughout deal execution
• Maintain a CRM of syndication relationships and investors

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-5 years of experience in ABS securitization, project finance, fund finance for infrastructure and credit, and credit structuring
• Advanced financial modeling proficiency and superior Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Degree in finance, marketing, engineering, math, statistics, or computer science a plus.
• Strong organization skills; excellent attention to detail; self-motivated and team oriented.
• Ability to produce accurate results under tight time constraints
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Salary Range: Expected base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $250,000/year

This range represents base salary only and does not include bonus or other forms of compensation. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to relevant experience, peer and market data, business sector, and/or geographic location. This role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
