Great Nurse to patient ratio! $5,000 Sign-on bonus for full-time employees Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and experienced RNs & LPNs to join our Ventilator & Tracheostomy Unit at Douglasville Center for Nursing and Healing in Douglasville, GA. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide exceptional patient care to individuals with complex medical needs, utilizing your expertise in ventilator management and tracheostomy care. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care to ventilator-dependent patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans Monitor and manage patients' ventilator settings, oxygen therapy, and other life-sustaining equipment Perform tracheostomy care, including suctioning, cleaning, and dressing the tracheostomy site Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction Stay current with industry developments, evidence-based practices, and regulatory requirements Requirements: Current RN or LPN license in the state of Georgia Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package (TBD) Opportunities for professional growth and development in a supportive and collaborative environment Collaborative team atmosphere that fosters open communication and respect Flexible scheduling to promote work-life balance #J-18808-Ljbffr Empire Care Centers
