Construction Laborer

Job Description

Description

We're looking for dependable Construction Laborers to join our civil construction team. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position involving erosion control, silt fence installation, inlet protection, grading support, and other outdoor construction tasks. Candidates must be comfortable working in all weather conditions , lifting heavy materials, using hand and power tools, and traveling to job sites as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a long-term career in civil construction.

Responsibilities

Perform general labor duties such as shoveling, grading, trenching, compacting, and site cleanup
Assist with the installation of pipe, drainage systems, concrete, and other construction materials
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment as directed
Set up and maintain traffic control devices and warning signs as needed
Follow directions from Foremen and Superintendents to support daily production goals
Adhere to all company and OSHA safety policies and procedures
Report potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and equipment issues promptly
Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Previous construction or labor experience preferred, but not required
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Reliable transportation to and from job sites
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel as required
Must maintain a strong commitment to teamwork and safety
