Accuracy Control Supervisor

• Work to ensure that everyone inside the Yard, own as well as subcontractors, are safe and are performing their work in accordance with our CORE values
• Ensure that all Hanwha Philly Shipyard safety procedures, rules and regulations are followed and met
• Instruct and direct Accuracy Control Technicians with evaluations
• Participate in and provide input for Build Method development
• Interpret 3-Dim evaluations
• Direct Measurement operators with alignments
• Schedule workload of Measurement operators
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTY
Oversee Accuracy Control and Measurement Technicians/Operators
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• 2 years of college related studies and/or 10 years' related experience in Measurement field or Quality Control
• Familiar with AVEVA system
• Have good print reading skills
• Knowledge of Theodolite, level and digital instruments
• Good shipbuilding background with good mathematical skills
• Ability to train operators with all measurement equipment

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Environmental exposures are similar to those found in most heavy industrial settings and may include noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fumes and smoke. Work may be carried on indoors or outdoors, and may involve exposure to inclement weather conditions.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is an on-site, full-time, safety-sensitive position. Standard days and hours of work vary by department, days and hours determined by department schedules.
