Responsibilities • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols • Conduct prostate sonography examinations utilizing the ExactVu Ultrasound System • Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images • Review patient history and verify examination requests prior to imaging procedures • Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort throughout examinations • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation • Follow all infection control, safety, and departmental policies and procedures • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care • Monitor and maintain ultrasound equipment and report operational concerns as needed Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience required • Associate's Degree required • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) required • Current BLS Certification required • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required • ExactVu Ultrasound System experience required • Prostate sonography experience required • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required • Strong knowledge of office and administrative practices • Excellent computer, communication, and problem-solving skills • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion Required Clinical Skills • ExactVu Ultrasound System operation • Prostate sonography procedures • Diagnostic ultrasound imaging • Patient assessment and preparation • Image acquisition and quality assurance • Electronic medical record documentation • Ultrasound equipment operation and maintenance • Patient education and communication Schedule & Assignment Details • Monday-Friday schedule • 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM shifts • Full-time contract assignment • July 6, 2026 through October 3, 2026 • New York, NY 10029 location What Candidates Can Expect We believe transparency matters.
