Agile Senior Project Manager (Enterprise Applications)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager 3 to lead high-priority IT initiatives, focus on Agile Release Management, and oversee complex application development projects. If you excel at driving matrixed teams, managing executive stakeholders, and steering multi-year tech projects, we want to hear from you!

• Location: Lansing, MI (Must reside in Michigan at time of application)

• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite 2 days/week: Tuesdays & Wednesdays)

• Interview Process: Virtual video interview via MS Teams (Screen sharing may be required)

• Executive & Stakeholder Alignment: Dedicate 15 20% of your time to direct engagement with C-suite executives, project sponsors, and third-party vendors.

• Release Planning & Project Governance: Lead long-term release planning, budget/schedule tracking, and risk management following established PM frameworks (SUITE methodology).

• Team Leadership: Direct day-to-day activities for multi-functional teams (50+ members) across complex system development lifecycles.

• Agile & SDLC Expertise: Extensive project management experience within Agile environments, managing system development for new buildouts and legacy enhancements (e.g., ColdFusion systems).

• Matrix Organization Leadership: Proven track record of guiding cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams in matrixed environments.

• Conflict & Scope Management: Strong ability to resolve high-priority conflicts, negotiate competing requirements, and control project scope/budget.

• Cross-Team Facilitation: Skilled in building consensus, running structured working sessions, and managing stakeholder relationships at all levels.

• Data-Driven Problem Solving: Deep experience analyzing project data, identifying risks early, and executing actionable solutions.

• Certifications: PMP, CAPM, PfMP, or Agile/Scrum certifications.

• Domain Experience: Prior background in public sector/government environments or multi-role project leadership (Program Manager, PM, Project Coordinator).
