Oak Ridge Country Club is seeking to fill a Full Time Banquet Manager role to help elevate and enhance member and guest experience.

Oak Ridge Country Club, founded in 1921, exists today to provide premium amenities and lasting memories to our members and guests. We are committed to delivering unforgettable experiences whether it be a corporate event, celebration, or a milestone moment.

Our Banquet Manager role will be responsible for assisting the Catering Director in the Banquet Department. They will provide key leadership to the banquet staff and maintain a guest-centric service culture that aligns with the existing service standards. The Banquet Manager will also help supervise and direct the service staff through all member and guest events. This person must have an enthusiastic attitude and commit to building and strengthening a team with the same commitment.

The Banquet Manager will also ensure event setup mirrors the outline established in the Event Orders. They will also be knowledgeable about the menus options, event setup and tear down.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Welcomes and greets members and guests

- Ensures communication with the kitchen banquet staff is clear and consistent

- Inspects tables and linens for appearance and cleanliness

- Creates floor plans, sections, and room setup

- Assists with hiring and trainings of staff

- Resolves member/guest complaints

- Ensures event staffing levels are met and assists with creating staff schedules

The Banquet Manager will need to have a flexible schedule and be willing to adjust to the flow of business while also ensuring coverage needs are being maintained. This role requires evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The starting salary range for this role is $72,000-$77,000 and based upon experience.
