Sales & Design Consultant
Resource Furniture, leader in high-end Italian-made transforming furniture, is currently seeking a highly experienced and driven Sales & Design Consultant to join our team in our New York Showroom. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in sales, ideally within the high-end furniture or kitchen and bath, be results-oriented, and have a passion for interior design.
To best serve our clients and to meet and exceed sales goals, the Sales & Design Consultant will typically work in our Showroom 5-days per week including a Saturday shift. Additional Marketing and Sales events hosted in our Showroom, as well as other industry networking events may occur outside of our typical Showroom hours.
Sales and Consultation:
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, architects, interior designers, and other industry professionals.
- Act as a knowledgeable resource for clients, offering expert advice on our range of furniture, design possibilities, and space optimization solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive product presentations and consultations to showcase the benefits and features of our furniture offerings.
- Understand client requirements, preferences, and budget to provide tailored recommendations and design solutions.
- Negotiate and successfully close sales, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing revenue opportunities.
Design and Space Planning:
- Utilize proprietary CAD software to create 3D design layouts for clients, incorporating our furniture solutions seamlessly into their spaces.
- Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and interior designers to develop functional and aesthetically pleasing furniture layouts.
- Deliver renderings including measurement specifications to clients, ensuring clear communication of design concepts and product requirements.
- Offer innovative design solutions that optimize space utilization, functionality, and visual appeal.
